Since the story picks up only a few days after the last one, you get to witness their forbidden romance play out and the cringe-worthy moments as Robin is forced to confront her secret feelings.Īnother huge plus was that the ending of the Spellbound series left it very open-ended on where our main characters of Demonized ended up, so I was able to appreciate every agonizing twist.
She is still amazingly shy, but is able to come into her own when it counts. She also has to decide how much she can trust Zylas with absolutely no magical protections. Robin has to confront the feelings she’s not just been ignoring but actively repressing. Zylas and Robin’s forbidden romance is a centerpiece in this book. There are a few overlap points with Damned Souls and a Sangria, as we’ve come to expect, but we also get to chase down the Court and Xavier with Zylas and Robin.
